About Codestack.net

Codestack is a website that I designed to not only teach people the basics of programming on the web and developing software applications, but as a place for the community to upload useful pieces of code and share those snippets in an easy to search consolidated place. People can come to codestack and find that snippet of code that eludes them. Perhaps you have your entire website designed and coded, but you want to switch to using a new PHP login system instead of your current system, your not very familier with PHP yet. You can search for a login system, copy free to use code and have ready to use code for your site. But not only that, have GOOD SECURE code. Because like a wiki this site will allow updates to the code to be made. The updates will be approved by moderators/members of the site and automatically become avaliable when enough members vote the code in, or a moderator approves it.

I want this to be a depot for sourcecode. It doesn't matter what the platform is, what the language is, what the code is for, or who uploads it. It's a place to share it all with others for free.

Known Bugs:

• Mac OSX users running Firefox may experience a small issue with the definitions description popup box. The "Close Description" link is partially hidden. The link is still functional however. This issue is being addressed. The workaround in the meantime is to use Apple's Safari browser.
